Collection of Foreign Currency Check Inquiry Service

Eligible customers

• Internet banking subscribed customers

     View the status of collection using Foreign Currency Check Status Service

Precautions

• Collection of foreign currency checks may take from 4 weeks to 6 weeks, and even after the period it might not be deposited.
• Collected money will be deposited when the paying bank deposits, and it is not adjustable by Citibank (collection requesting bank).
• Collection intermediate fee (USD75.00 per check regardless of the amount) and collection fee will be charged by the paying bank, and fee is charged also by the receiving bank for processing collection which may range from USD75.00 to USD200.00.
• Generally, deposit is made after fee is deducted from the principal amount after collection, but some paying banks may charge upfront fee at the onset of collection process.
